o.k so, i’m doing my room and i thought it would be cool to have a ‘tumblr’ wall but i didn’t really know what to put on it until i thought maybe us peoples urls. once i get enough urls i’ll start filling my wall (maybe two if enough people reblog) i’m going to take a picture when it’s done so you guys have proof x.

Meet…let’s call him Dave. Dave is a ‘Twitter Friend’. He stays in Nigeria but he often comes to Dubai (or so he says though the last few days have proven him a pathological liar). He said he would be in Dubai for a week during the summer and I said we could hang out as you do. I will NEVER make that mistake again.

Dave is clingy, rude, misogynistic, presumptuous, forceful and a colossal pain in my butt!!! I can’t even explain it to you in words that would make sense. He is a patronising little man-whore and today I had to just speak my mind and get it out of my system…

Needless to say I shan’t be seeing Dave’s lying behind any time soon. I think his current girlfriend (if she does exist) is the real victim here. Honestly I think the reason why this got to me so much is because he is a grown man and I expected a degree of maturity-alas I have known kidney beans more mature than this twerp.

I think I figured something out about love. Maybe I’m late in my discovery; I’m often slow to realise these things.

People seem to think that for two people to fall in love they both need to be as damaged as each other. Perhaps this is true.

However I think that for love to last, for it to go anywhere but downhill, one person needs to be slightly less damaged or at least a different tone of broken in comparison to the other. That person will provide clarity and balance. That person will be the anchor to their ship.

Admittedly that is a lot of responsibility to demand of one party in what should be a partnership. Yet if it is not so they will self destruct; they will ruin each other whilst fighting to be loved.
